This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with a strong record of success in teaching and significant experience working with or in a luxury context to develop and run a new full-time semester course, to be validated at the undergraduate level. Blending theoretical and practical learning, this course will respond to the needs of students envisaging future careers in in the luxury industry. Director of Human Resources
Sotheby’s Institute of Art–London is seeking a HR Director who will report to the CEO, and manage organisational development, recruitment and culture. As part of the Management Team, the HR Director will be responsible for the strategic planning of the Human Resources function throughout Sotheby’s Institute of Art – London as well as ensuring compliance through developing, maintaining and disseminating HR policies and processes. Sotheby’s Institute of Art–London is seeking a Head of Operations who will report to the CEO, and provide strategic and practical oversight of all aspects of the Institute’s London premises. In addition, the role requires a commercial and revenue-generation outlook. The role encompasses accountability for the full range of elements, including strategic space planning, landlord relations and contractor management, customer service and front office operations, hard and soft facilities management and compliance.
