Overview

This course is the first in our annual series of Art Law for Art World Professionals courses. The purpose is to provide an understanding of many of the key legal issues relating to the trade in and ownership of art with, lectures addressing important areas such as auctions, art valuations, copyright, Nazi looted art and international art law . The second course in this series is held in the Spring and while each course is independent, they are designed to complement each other. The courses are directed towards non-lawyers working in the art world or wishing to do so, as well as lawyers from other disciplines.
