Sotheby's Institute of Art at Claremont Graduate University is pleased to invite current and prospective students and alumni to an informative workshop on job and internship applications. As we move toward spring, many deadlines are approaching for summer internship applications. Gain a competive edge and hear the employer’s perspective on how to craft application materials that will land you an interview with Arts Management alumna Camille Schenkkan. Attendees will learn the difference between job and internship application materials, how to structure a cover letter and resume, and other best practices from someone who sees approximately 300 undergraduate, graduate-level, and recent graduate applications annually (including many from SIA/CGU). International students are encouraged to attend to learn about best practices for applying to internships and jobs in the US.

Camille Schenkkan (Arts Mgmt, 2010) is the Program Director for Next Generation Initiatives at Center Theatre Group, and the Managing Director at the new-works development company Circle X Theatre Co.

Series Description:
This event is part of a new brown bag lunch series, Career Conversations. The goal of this series is to facilitate learning, conversation, and networking by bringing local arts organizations, SIA-LA alumni, and other art professionals together with students in an informal environment. The series runs on Wednesdays at CGU’s downtown Los Angeles campus at the Reef. Beverages and light refreshments will be provided. You may also bring lunch from home or purchase food at the Reef. For more information on dining options, click here.
