Ana Estrades

Ana Estrades is a jewelry historian, educator and curator. Her research interests range from early modern to contemporary jewelry and designers, cameos and gems, collectors and collecting, issues of provenance and authenticity. Recent projects include image and copyright research for American jewelry designer David Yurman towards his eponymous publication "David Yurman: Cable." 

Ana's excellent fieldwork also include the digital interpretation for the Bard Graduate Center spring Focus Project “New York Crystal Palace 1853,”  the recipient of the 2017 Outstanding New Media Award from the Victorian Society New York.

Ana has worked in education, coordination and valuation for several museums in the US and Europe, namely the Museum of the City of New York, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Museum of History of Catalonia and the Picasso Museum (Barcelona). Presently, Ana is Salon Coordinator at the luxe jewelry house Fred Leighton/ Kwiat. Concurrently, Ana is independently coordinating an exhibition to be held at the inaugural New York City Jewelry Week scheduled for Fall 2018.
