Marcelle Lunau

Adjunct Professor, MA Art Business, Los Angeles

Marcelle Lunau studied Art Conservation in Florence, her Italian diploma was proceeded by an internship at the J.Paul Getty Museums Painting Conservation Department. During her career she has worked for museums such as the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, the Danish National Museum and the Museum of Modern Art in Stockholm. Her professional history also includes a leadership position at Balboa Art Conservation Centers Field Service Office in San Diego, where she worked mainly with educational outreach to cultural institutions and museums throughout the Western USA, offering classes in Collections Care and Preventive Conservation. She currently works with galleries and museums in Los Angeles and serves as a Consultant and Conservator at the Hearst Castle, in San Simeon.
