Yasmin Railton has over ten years' experience working in major international galleries and auction houses. Bridging art historical theory and conservation, her interdisciplinary research analyzes the impact of ephemerality and conservation on the meaning and value of contemporary art within the art market and public museums. Railton lectures on critical theory, conservation, and the contemporary art market. Most recently, she contributed a chapter on the contemporary art for the forthcoming publication, Art Business Today, a handbook for art world professionals.
